Data and analytics are especially important to modern businesses as it can improve decision outcomes for all types of decisions (macro, micro, real-time, cyclical, strategic, tactical and operational). At the same time, D&A can unearth new questions and innovative solutions to questions — and opportunities — that business leaders had not even considered.
Progressive organizations use data in many ways and must often rely on data from outside their boundary of control for making smarter business decisions.
Increasingly, organizations now use advanced analytics to tackle business problems, but the nature and complexity of the problem determines the choice of whether and how to use prediction, forecasting or simulation for the predictive analysis component. Scaling digital business especially complicates decision making and requires a mix of data science and more advanced techniques. The combination of predictive and prescriptive capabilities enables organizations to respond rapidly to changing requirements and constraints.
The following are examples of combining the predictive capabilities of forecasting and simulation with prescriptive capabilities:
Vendors are always looking to find talent who can develop quickly within a business and can perform technical implementations either for MSSP’s or End User clients. Whether it’s joining as a SIEM Engineer without cloud experience, or a Chief Security Strategist we can place specialists at all levels. We have a thorough qualification process; ensuring all the candidates are technical hands-on (implementing Security products on both cloud & on premise platforms).
In 2022 we partnered with an XDR vendor tasked with building a brand new PS team for Europe and ME. We advised the client on the end to end hiring process to place candidates in countries without an existing entity in France, Spain & UAE via a third party. We first focused on placing their VP of professional Services then placed Senior Professional Services Consultants in all the major hubs in Europe within the last 3 months.
In 2021 we were contacted directly by a global leader in SIEM and built a Technical Service Delivery team from the ground up in US. Alongside this we have placed 9 Principal Security Engineers across each entity to support an elite team of advisors which sit above their current PS function. These evangelists are SME’s on all the product capabilities with a solid focus on product enablement, compliance, cloud, integration and solution architecture.
